Professor Yuanshen Qi is currently a Tenured Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology (GTIIT). He received his Ph.D. from Monash University in 2016 and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research in the field of nanoscale physical metallurgy at the Technion, and joined GTIIT in October 2020. His research team primarily focuses on the microstructural control of nanostructures in metallic thin films and performance enhancement of metals and alloys using high-energy pulsed currents. His work has been published on ACS Nano, Acta Materialia, Scripta Materialia, and Materials Research Letters etc.
